Good epi sans Eddie! Just wanted to tell Jamie he should check out the episode of “Comedy Bang Bang” with Yo La Tengo doing a guest acoustic set. They played like 4 good songs.
There was reference made to Eddie having a specific chair/area in Sean’s apartment. I humbly request that in the future, this be referred to as ‘The Pepizone’.
Awesome A few episodes’ back I think someone mentioned there might be Long Shot “swag” available soon…any more news on that front? I would *happily* buy a Long Shot t-shirt or something (or at least ask for one for Xmas). <3 You guys!
I am working on a t-shirt GD! And Sean has his heart set on backscratchers.
ooooh nice, thanks for the heads up! Any clue which episode # it was?
Episode 122 for that Yo La Tengo thing.
So what is the U2 song that Bono came up with on the spot with The Edge?? Am I going to have to watch the documentary? Tease.
Hey Sean, Bowie long before Bono. And further back, Little Richard. That dude was crazy! I hope I didn’t get Eddie into too much trouble.
Downloading now.
Is it too early to start bugging you guys for a release of season 2?
I think I said it on the show, Michelle. It was “One,” off Achtung Baby. I haven’t listened back, but I think I said something like “… and they came up with ‘One,’ which is arguably their best song.” So maybe it sounded like I was saying, “… and they came up with one which is arguably there best song.” Without naming it.
Worth watching the doc for those few minutes though. It’s a pretty spellbinding look at a weirdly transcendant moment of artistic creation.
Cool, thanks Sean. I listened 3 times to catch the name but didn’t suss out “One”. Will definitely put this one on the list.
Sean is brilliant. He has REALLY grown on me, like a fungus. I love Amber & Jamie too. Such a great group!
Cool! Where did you guys find a picture of a Broderson crane?
