Well, if Amber’s adventure had a certain childlike quality, Jamie’s was strictly high-school…remarkable how we can, possibly, never escape such environs.

The vibraphone has a little electrical motor to it that helps with sustain and generally gives a richer sound than does the xylophone, which, like the glockenspiel, also has metal keys, while the marimba has wooden ones. (The sound of mallets pounding out “The More You Know” theme from NBC ads of the ’90s.)

I want to hear more about Sean’s “Weird Starbucks Lady”…because, wow.

Jamie’s checking in can be summed up thusly: I got high, hands down (not my) pants and sticky times.

Also Sean mentioning Taco Island sort of fit in there too. Very racy episode of the Lo Sho Po except the part where Amber talked about Pixar and puppies of course.

I used to listen to Keith and the Girl regularly, and I swear that Chemda used to say that her name is pronounced with the C silent. If so, I wonder why she didn’t correct Sean. Good to hear from those two again.

Ha! Love how Amber’s checking in was the epitome of innocent past-times (playing with puppies and watching Pixar movies), whilst Jamie found himself stuck in the middle of a hand-in-pants sandwich, replete with “The Marijuana” paranoia.
