Is it possible to buy season one without using Itunes I got an answer saying e-mail and we will sort it out I e-mailed several times to no avail. I have also sent twitter messages, I understand this obviously means no but I do not understand why. : (
Beezlebud I believe the main point Eddie made about Bill Maher being Libertarian and all this entails is correct, which is why Bill Maher dilly dallies about whether or not he is Libertarian (In My Humble Opinion)

Speaking of James Adomian, has he ever been a guest? If not I would love for him to come on. Now that me and Wayne Federman have mentioned him you can tell James that there’s hype around him coming on the show. I want to hear him doing his Huell Howser character interviewing Amber dressed up as him on Halloween.

JAZZ, as Jamie is finding out, is a very inadequate history…Burns knew essentially nothing about jazz, and so depended on Stanley Crouch and Wynton Marsalis, neither of whom much care, among other things, for any jazz developments after hard bop in the early/mid ’50s. Hence the coverage of the (then) last half-century of jazz was weak, to say the least.

Aside from the Gervais/Merchant podcast, such podcasts as WEEZY AND THE SWISH (Louise Palanker and Laura Swisher) were up and running before NEVER NOT FUNNY. Jackie Kashian’s THE DORK FOREST is only a month or three younger than NEVER NOT FUNNY.

Not all atheists fetishize science, but science is a method rather than a belief system, as the guest tried to suggest. Science only stands against religion when religion tries to insist that it has the Only Truth about facts in the material world. Our senses might deceive us, as they often can, but it does seem likely that someone’s recieved wisdom about the universe might be a bit less reliable than a method of testing facts that is meant to be ever self-correcting. Now, there are all kinds of ways that method can be perverted…

Great episode, but I don’t think Eddie has ever seen, or heard, Bill Maher’s actual material. He’s not some right-wing libertarian, as Eddie made him out to be. That seemed like such a strange rant about someone that I think actually agrees with Eddie on probably 95-99% of the issues.
