As the official LoShoPo Hawaii expert, I have some knowledge to drop. 1) Jamie was right, it is very pretty here. 2) Every year there is a very important Hula competition called the Merrie Monarch Festival. Hula Hālaus (hula groups) around the world compete and is considered the most prestigious of all hula contests. Hula Hālaus are very competitive. 3) Hula was banned in the 1820′s by the missionaries and by the 1850s, public hula was regulated by a system of licensing. So there was some Hula during the Antebellum time but it was controlled. In 1874 King David Kalākaua encouraged Hula to be practiced again. 4) Hawaii’s last princess was Princess Lili’uokalani, who was part Scottish and Hawaiian and was deposed during the 1893 overthrow of the Hawaiian Government. when I direct download this new episode I get the previous one. why?
