Honestly guys I think you’re ok with just ending this. I’ve been a fan for years but the podcast has just been so lackluster lately. Conroy is the only professional comedian that cares enough about the craft to bring his A game every time. Jaime and Amber just aren’t entertainers, at least not on this show. There’s just no passion here any more, and it’s painfully obvious. It pains me to say it too, this used to be the best podcast around.

Also, since you wanted to discuss how to restructure the podcast:

1. The podcast is the funniest when the listener has an understanding of all of your personalities. This means that it can be difficult for people to enjoy the podcast when they are listening for the first time. For example, one of my favorite episodes is the one where you guys make up nicknames for Jamie’s coworkers, but a new listener might not like that episode. The nickname part is preceded by Jamie being unable to answer questions for 5 minutes, which is preceded by Jamie talking about eating nuts or something. I think that you need to start a discussion in your fanbase about what episode would work as an introduction. We could also combine a bunch of podcast clips to create a good intro episode (I assume I could do that just knowing audacity?).

2. Right now you exclude the guest from the first segment so that the guest can see the group dynamic before participating. We could just cut together a short mp3 that introduces you guys. Then you’d make the guest spend 5 minutes listening to the mp3 before you start the podcast. That would also be a good fan discussion: how should the guest see all of the hosts? I think the most important thing is to establish that everyone interrupts each other, Sean likes to improvise, and it’s fine to make fun of Jamie.

I disagree that they should keep on drinking with Joe Wagner. Wagner already makes them intoxicated with his personality, so drinking on top of that is overkill.

Also, if there’s some reason that Wagner can’t be a fourth member of the podcast, consider James Fritz from episode 636. His riffs in that episode were hilarious.

Wow. Hearing Jamie and even Amber get completely wasted wasn’t anything particularly new, but I don’t think I’ve ever heard Sean that far gone on the podcast. This show went completely off the rails, in the best possible way.

Also, Jamie’s unflinching insistence that absolutely everything culturally nonspecific to him is utterly absurd, and therefore completely hilarious, sheds new light on the headdress controversy. It does make me uncomfortable that the mere fact of a Latin accent is utilized as a joke, but maybe I’m just being an oversensitive white guy.

I have an idea for the show. bring joe on as a member and do a two hour episode every two weeks. let us, the listeners offer topics of conversation and you guys decide what topic to discuss. or, turn the podcast into a drinking game and post video highlights on youtube or facebook. also, maron got the casper money. I bet they had to pay thousands to get a spot on his show. that motherfucker. cheers.

Listening to this while utterly exhausted, after a stressful few weeks, and even dozing a bit in the middle and having dreams in reaction to it, was somehow appropriate.

This reminds me of when you get drunk with your coworkers on a Saturday night, and weird shit happens. Then everyone comes in Monday morning, not saying a word, haha.

By the way, the show has to continue. I’ll send a more comprehensive email later. But when you’re all together you’ve really hit your stride. Listen to Joe.

This is the best podcast I listen to, and that’s including WTF, Rogan, Bill Burr, etc. Don’t quit now.

I don’t want james to leave the show! seans right, I feel like he is not as into the show like he used to be. I might be wrong. but he did tell amber that he was exited to get his own podcast. as far as brother wags in concerned, I think it would be great if he could fill in when someone is not going to be able to show up to do the show. hell, I would love for him to be a member of the cast. you could skip having a guest altogether. nothing lasts forever, but please guys, do it as long as you love it.

The Shit Show = One of the best LoShoPo episodes in a while! I’ve loved all the episodes, but it is great to hear the gang together back in Sean’s apartment, semi-delirious, taking Jameson shots!

There is a special magic about having everyone back in Sean’s apartment, and I absolutely loved the long, stream of consciousness interplay. Please don’t change the format too much. You have no idea how much the podcast means, coming at the end of what is usually a long week.

Love all the (pod)cast, and will miss you while you’re on break!
