In my avocation, as the self-appointed etycryptologist of TLS comments section, I’ll hazard that Eddie Pepitone has conflated “Nubian” and “nubile” (and possibly “denuded”) at some point, hence the recurring mention of earlier confusion of Nubian with “hairless” in response to the Nubian-free, two-person Nubian Mob, as recalled by Jamie Flam. Though, of course, nubile is only very peripherally related to hairlessness, except in these days of utter depilation below the scalp. Time for more DayQuil…and minoxidil…a fine show, particularly given how creepy circuses are.
Love the show! Maybe people are turning off in the first 20 seconds is because it starts out all quiet with the drum fill and then when Sean’s old tymey voice comes in announcing the show its loudish and somewhat muddled. maybe change that and it will help.
I’m beginning to like how impatient you get Sean. You’re taking on this Fred Flintstone quality and Jamie is your Barney Rubble. So I guess that would make Amber an older Pebbles and Eddy, Mr. Slate. How about Condiments as an upcoming subject.
