After the insane amount of success of our first contest, we are excited to present our second: The “Hey! I Wanna Be a Guest on The Long Shot Podcast!” Contest. It’s awesome.
NOTE: We are no longer taking submissions, as the contest deadline ended May 31st.
We received countless thousands of submissions from listeners, telling us why they felt they’d make the perfect guest on our show. Below are the Top 8.

I vote for myself #3. This is for the off chance that if no one sends a vote for me, that I’ll actually have a vote. #3 is the only contestant with Earvin “Magic” Johnson in his video. For this reason alone he should be picked.
I vote for Tim, West, and Joel (you mentioned that the top three would be culled by the listeners in an earlier podcast and the winner would be chosen by the podcast hosts.)
If you just need one vote, I choose West.
Couple of notes:
You mention the contest is over because it ended on May 31st, and while I occasionally browse the web THROUGH TIME (dramatic music!) – I’m pretty sure this is a typo instead.
Between video #3 and #4 is the text “password: longshot”.

Hello Ben. I am the one and only HowToFoldSoup on the internet, as far as I know. Yes, the ENTIRE INTERNET. The key is a 13 character name that no one else would use.
God… N. I haven’t played that in forever. I think you wrote me a message on YouTube a year or two ago. Glad to see you’re keepin’ up on the best Podcasts! Makes me wonder what the non-cheating N population/Long Shot Podcast listeners Venn Diagram would look like.
As far as the chances, they get higher when you consider the webcam I have installed in your brain.

Don’t mean to complain but why are there SOOO many entries? I listen to Long Shot while I do other things. This takes work.

I was going to vote for #8 Joel – but wasn’t April 11 2011 a month ago? Then again – the contest deadline ended (deadline ended – is that like start began???) two weeks from now – so I may have stepped into an alternate dimension.

I vote for 5 or 6 even though neither of those two are very likely to give Flam a beating. If there were a nominee that promised to beat the hell from Flam they would have my vote. Eff you Flam.
I vote for Tim, #5, because he made me laugh almost as hard as I laughed at the last The Long Shot Podcast. He seems like the best contestant to complement an already nearly perfect crew (I’m too ass-kissy to enter this contest).
