Thanks for letting me sit in on the taping! I feel like “frenching” and “necking” are really going to make a comeback this year.

To say the least…though my perhaps too antiquated understanding of “petting” in the intrahuman romantic context is one of mutual masturbation (or at least “heavy petting”…I dunno what “light petting” might be, either…ruffling the ears, perhaps). Then again, the old (WW2-era) pop song “Don’t Sit Under the Apple Tree” includes the lines “[I heard from a guy] about a girl he met/who loves to pet/and it fits you to a T”…maybe a bit graphic for the top 40 or YOUR HIT PARADE, but then again, We Were Germaning (and Japaning and briefly Italianing) at the time…well, in any case, it was a very besmirched episode, and I hope your entreaties for contribution are being heard and acted upon.

Group now wondering if the cast of Corky Romano is cursed?

–Only by those who have seen the film. Yes, please tip the waitstaff, I’m going back to do the dishes now. Good night.
